Tessa Vegelin


Tessa is a registered psychologist with a Master of Science degree in child and adolescent psychology from the University of Utrecht, The Netherlands. Following practicing for 5 years in The Netherlands she moved to Alice Springs in 2014 to join her partner. Tessa has been working with both children and adults with a range of presenting challenges, such as: depression; anxiety; sleep disorders; grief and bereavement; relationship challenges; psychosomatic problems; parenting difficulties; substance misuse; and learning disorders. Tessa is trained in Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) and the Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) for couples externship. She is passionate about implementing a range of best-practice therapeutic techniques and an area of strong interest is in Eye Movement and Desensitisation and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy within the area of trauma.
